This building is designed to capture the look of ornate facades that were common with cast iron construction in the late 1800s. The fronts of many buildings were actually composed of separate cast iron or stamped metal parts that were assembled at the building site. This type of construction allowed patternmakers to create intricate details like those found on our HO scale building. Many buildings may still be found standing today. Our kit features an amazing one piece front that captures all of the detail of a cast iron facade. Our packaging now features a printed interior for kit #101.
City Classics Window Dressings and signs (set 501-14) are the perfect finishing touch.
