Description: 1950s-Vietnam era, Vought-built, single-engine, supersonic, carrier-capable fighter aircraft - upgraded variant from the F-8E. Kit features engraved panel lines/rivets, highly detailed cockpit, ejection seat, wheel wells, speed brake well, refueling probe bay, gun bays, and J57 engine. Also includes intake trunking, separately molded flaps, external stores (4 Zuni rockets in twin pods and 2 each GBU-15, AIM-9 Sidewinders, AGM-45 Shrike, AGM-62 Walleye and AGM-12 Bullpups), photo-etch parts (seatbelts, 20mm ammo chutes, canopy mirrors and engine compressor/turbine disks), optional position multi-part canopy, optional folded wings, and optional wing position with increased incidence (fuselage interior detail under raised wing).
