TBD-1 Devastator an American torpedo bomber for the US Navy, it's first flight was 1935 and it entered service in the year 1937. It was the very first American carrier-based mono-wing all metal aircraft torpedo bomber for the United States Navy. It was the first with hydraulically folding wings. It was by far the most advanced aircraft flying for the United States Navy in that period of time.
